Ariella Imena is a Black & Puerto-rican photojournalist capturing the powerful testimonies of faith in women's lives & the communities around her.  Through graceful introspection and a surrealist lens, her work focuses on visually storytelling of what it means to be a Lioness of God. Within the pursuit of adversity, her stories embrace the beauty of divine countenance and the strength of those often overlooked - recognizing the beauty from their ashes. Her works advocate for their voices to be heard and remembered.
